Finally the printed version of the zine arrived and, not to blow my own horn, (ok maybe just a little bit) it looks pretty good for being the first try. If you know me a little you know that i'm really picky and very hard on the quality of my work, ( i've already spotted a couple of layout accidents ) and i always try to make the best product possible. Hope you'll forgive my rookie errors, that i'm sure will be pretty obvious to a seasoned editor/layout artist, and if you feel like giving me some feedback about it it'd be much appreciated. I've never done anything like this before and really excited about it. I wanna thank all the people that believed in me and helped me so far. It's just the beginning and that is a promise!
The realization of this very first issue of CITY SLANG 'ZINE wouldn't have been possible without the precious help of: Angelatini ( my inspiration and muse ) Lindsay Ravensong for editing the heck out of my italenglish, Earle Thunders for being the first to answer to call, John Hamhock, Mike Mindless and Dorothy, Invisible Hour Photography, Mike Emigh, all the bands that answered to my silly questions. Mental Beat and Creem Magazine for the inspiration and the motivation and most of all YOU for taking your time to read my rants...
...i also apologize for the ridiculous amount of times that i use the words ROCK N'ROLL around here...
RESPECT THE ROCK
A shut out goes to our sponsors that help me pay for all the stuff i'm doing here...nobody is making money with Rock n'Roll these days but it still feels good having other people around that believe in your vision and that are willing to help you pursue your dream.
